I'm sure all you wonderfully loyal visitors read my last blog entitled "It's Christmas Time" but now I'm really not kidding...tomorrow is Christmas! If you're at all confused, let me break it down for you. You see, I'm from the southern part of Texas, which is constantly humid and hot year round. As a matter of fact, the temperature back home right now is 83 degrees and that's totally normal for "Fall" back home. As far as Christmas weather goes...we really don't have it (with the exception of the snowfall we received in 2004 which was the first time it had snowed since weather was first formally recorded which was in the late 1800's). So I'm sure you can imagine the thoughts that were going through my head when I heard that there will be snow in the valley (in case you're wondering...I'm in the valley) Saturday and Sunday! I hate snow because snow means it's cold outside and when it's cold outside, it's usually cold inside which means a terrible night's sleep for however many nights the snow decides to hang around. Anyway, I wanted to keep this one kind of short, but you can bet I'll be posting a lot more later...maybe even some stereotypical snow pictures!
As a side note, the cast arrives in Salt Lake City on Monday (just one day after the snow) and we're beyond ready in terms of logistics and whatnot. The group is going to have a great time here in SLC because we've got a few surprises for them! No details until they happen...sorry!
P.S. Someone's birthday is coming up in 12 days so now would be a great time to start planning what you'll be buying me! :-D
